WELCOME TO LLANTRISANT

WELCOME to the home of the Freemen of Llantrisant, a website established by Llantrisant Town Trust. For more than six and a half centuries the Freemen have played a vital role in the every day life of this ancient Welsh town.

This website is designed to outline the role played by the Freemen of Llantrisant since the presentment of a Charter in 1346. It will give Freemen the opportunity to trace their lineage, while also allowing those with a hereditary right to become a Freemen the opportunity to apply for the privilege.

We hope this website encourages you to learn more about this beautiful little town as you prepare to visit Llantrisant and see it in all its glory for yourself!
